Shaun Rechsteiner has handled a wide variety of matters in the areas of commercial and fiduciary litigation, including breach of contract, product liability, trademark infringement, real estate litigation, breach of promissory notes, business torts, fraud claims and probate and trust work. Shaun is equally comfortable working with large national or regional companies as he is dealing with managers and owners facing issues concerning their family businesses and families trying to settle estates of loved ones. He is well-versed in trial preparation and ready to take action in court when necessary, but also seeks alternative dispute resolutions, such as mediation and arbitration, if it is in the best interests of his clients.
The first in his family to attend college, Shaun entered undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University knowing that he wanted to be an attorney. Hard work, focus and drive led him to obtain two undergraduate degrees, a B.S., cum laude, in political science and a B.S.B.A., cum laude, in human resources management. He specifically chose this all-encompassing approach to his pre-law school education to prepare for his career as a litigator. While in law school at the University of Notre Dame School of Law, Shaun continued to excel, serving as the Development Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy and as a Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International & Comparative Law. He graduated with his J.D. degree cum laude.
Shaun is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
A native of Michigan, he and his fiancée enjoy the warm Florida weather and their Miniature Australian Shepherd. Favorite pastimes include home brewing beer and involvement with his local home brewing club, playing guitar and piano and working-out
