Attorney Neeta M. Romot practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, planning for high net-worth families, business succession planning, tax law, and corporate and business law.  Neeta began her career in Gainesville, Florida after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with honors.  Prior to practicing law, Neeta practiced as a financial planner and managed the operations of small businesses.  Her experience in other fields coupled with her legal education and practice allows her to analyze complex estate, tax, and business planning issues from various perspectives to provide clients with comprehensive and practical estate and business plans.

Neeta earned her law degree, graduating cum laude, and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. In law school she was the general editor for the Florida Journal of International Law and worked as a teaching assistant for legal writing classes and appellate advocacy.  Neeta earned book awards in law school for Individual Income Taxation and Taxation of Financial Instruments, Investments and Transactions.  During the LL.M. program she earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Tax of Financial Instruments.

Background

Neeta enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters and can often be found spending time at the beach or baking in the kitchen.
