Catherine’s practice at ShuffieldLowman focuses almost exclusively in the area of fiduciary litigation, including probate and trust disputes, guardianship litigation and elder law. In addition, Catherine has experience in all areas of commercial litigation, including securities and financial services defense and class action representation. Catherine is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Estate Guardianship and Trust Committee of the Orange County Bar Association, and the George C. Young First Central Florida American Inn of Court, where she serves on a committee that focuses on Elder Law. Catherine has practiced law in North Carolina, Louisiana, and Florida.
Catherine is admitted to the state bar of Florida, and North Carolina.
Catherine earned her J.D. degree, summa cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law. Catherine holds a B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary.

Catherine enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children, whether boating on nearby Lake Conway, or taking trips to the mountains for hiking and skiing. Catherine is also an active member at her church, and enjoys volunteering with her church’s youth group.
