Debbie brings more than 20 years of experience representing clients in commercial and civil litigation and appellate matters, including corporate, employment, intellectual property, shareholder, and real estate disputes. She leverages her seasoned legal research and writing skills, business acumen, and analytical strategies developed through her work with multiple federal judges to advance her clients’ interests. Known for her persuasive legal writing, she excels at crafting briefs grounded in strategic reasoning. Her work on summary judgments and other dispositive motions has contributed to favorable outcomes, securing millions of dollars for her clients.

Debbie earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating with High Honors and ranking third in her class. While in law school, she served as Executive Research Editor of the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy, worked as a teaching assistant in appellate advocacy, and provided statutory research assistance in corporate law. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Stetson University, where she was selected as a Harry S. Truman Scholar nominee for public service.

She previously served as a law clerk for Judge Robert E. Cowen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Kenneth A. Marra of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also served as a temporary law clerk for Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, Judge William P. Dimitrouleas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and two U.S. Magistrate Judges.

 

Background

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

She is also an active member of her Catholic Church, where she assists with the coordination of social activities for youth altar servers and delivers communion to nursing home residents.
