Devon Richards brings more than 15 years of experience representing clients in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, including matters involving complex business, probate, trust, and guardianship issues.
In her work on probate, trust, and guardianship-related disputes, Devon has litigated issues involving testamentary capacity, undue influence, financial elder abuse, Florida’s Slayer Statute, estate/trust administration and accounting disputes, and personal representative and trustee removal disputes.
In her business litigation work, she has experience in a wide range of claims including breach of contract and contract interpretation issues, shareholder disputes and freeze-outs, breaches of fiduciary duty, intellectual property disputes including trademarks and trade secrets, bad faith insurance claims, and consumer protection claims.
Devon holds her J.D. and her B.S.C., cum laude, in Political Science and Communication from the University of Miami. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and appear before the United States District Court, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She is also an inactive member of The Washington State Bar.
