ShuffieldLowman Partner Stephanie L. Cook Appointed Vice Chair of Florida Probate Rules Committee
ShuffieldLowman is pleased to announce that partner Stephanie L. Cook has been appointed Vice Chair of The Florida Bar’s Probate Rules Committee for the 2026–2027 term. The appointment becomes effective July 1, 2026.
Cook was selected for this leadership role by The Florida Bar in recognition of her professionalism, leadership and dedication to the legal profession. The Probate Rules Committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending updates to the Florida Probate Rules, which govern procedures in probate matters statewide, and revising the rules when new legislation is passed that affects probate and guardianship laws. In her new role as vice chair, Cook will help guide the committee’s work and support the development of procedural rules that impact attorneys and courts throughout Florida.
Cook has been an active participant in the Probate Rules Committee and its subcommittees for several years, contributing her experience and insight to the ongoing refinement of probate and guardianship practice in Florida. “Stephanie’s appointment is a reflection of her commitment to excellence and her leadership within the legal community,” said William Lowman, managing partner at ShuffieldLowman. “We are proud to support her continued service to The Florida Bar and the profession.”
