ShuffieldLowman Welcomes Attorney Charlie Van Patten to the Firm’s Estate Planning Team

ORLANDO, Fla. — Charlie Van Patten has joined the firm as an associate attorney supporting its Estate Planning practice.

Van Patten assists clients with a range of estate planning matters, including the preparation of foundational estate planning documents and related administration issues. He also brings more than a decade of experience in charitable planned giving, where he has worked with donors to help meet charitable estate planning goals and supported nonprofit gift officers in developing complex charitable arrangements.

Van Patten is known for providing responsive and thoughtful legal support, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions as they plan for the future.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University. Van Patten also holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services.

Van Patten is admitted to practice law in Florida, Virginia and South Carolina. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.
