Attorney Alicia Noelle Braker Joins ShuffieldLowman

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – ShuffieldLowman law firm recently announced that attorney Alicia Noelle Braker has joined the firm, practicing in the areas of estate planning and probate, tax law and planning for high net worth families with closely held businesses.

Braker’s experience includes a strong understanding of the complex areas of taxation, including work with organizations on attaining 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status.  In addition, she brings a passion for client care and interaction to her guardianship and probate work.

Braker holds an LL.M., an advanced legal taxation degree, from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale.  In law school, she earned Book Awards in the courses of Estate and Gift Tax, Wills and Trusts, Business Entities, and Evidence; Dean’s List placement; Merit Scholarships; and participated in the pro bono honor program.  She holds her B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.

Super, owned by Thomson Reuters, recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice.  The selection process is multi-phased and rigorous.  Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research and validation of the attorney’s professional accomplishments.

Orlando, Florida — Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, P.A. recently announced that longtime Central Florida banker and Certified Financial Planner®, Lea Anne Groover has joined the firm’s attorney roster, after completing law school at Florida A&M University and being sworn-in as a member of The Florida Bar. Groover, brings more than 28 years of business, banking, wealth management and financial consulting experience to the firm. Groover will work with the firm’s corporate section in the areas of estate planning, taxation and trust & estate administration.

Formerly the Chief Fiduciary Officer of Seaside National Bank & Trust, Groover holds a B.S. from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida. In addition, she is a Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Trust and Finance Advisor and a Chartered Financial Consultant. She is also a former judicial intern for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Probate, Guardianship and Mental Health Division.

Professionally, she is a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Estate, Guardianship and Trust Committee and a member of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
