Attorneys Logan J. Opsahl And Jessica A. Sirianni Join ShuffieldLowman

Orlando, FL— ShuffieldLowman recently announced that attorneys Logan J. Opsahl and Jessica A. Sirianni have joined the firm’s Orlando office.

A native Floridian, Opsahl’s passion for real estate stems from a love of Florida’s great outdoors.  His practice includes real estate, land use, eminent domain, and local government matters.

Opsahl holds a B.S. in both Economics and Political Science from Florida State University and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he also earned a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law.  He was admitted to practice law by The Florida Bar in 2018 and serves on the Eminent Domain and Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy Committee. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, where he is active with the Young Lawyers Division and the Real Property Committee.

Sirianni is also a native Floridian, who grew up in South Florida. She focuses her practice primarily on commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending, banking, and finance. Sirianni’s experience includes real estate conveyancing, title insurance, title clearing matters, and real estate related due diligence.

Sirianni holds a B.S. cum laude in Finance and Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida, and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. While at Notre Dame Law School, Jessica learned to view the practice of law as more than just a profession but rather an opportunity to serve others. She was admitted to practice law by The Florida Bar in 2018. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers.

ShuffieldLowman Executive Director, Amanda Koplos, was recently selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) for a 3-year term which begins in the Spring of 2021. Amanda has been a member of ALA since 2005 and has previously served in numerous positions at the local and international level including President of the Austin Chapter in 2009 and, most recently, as a member of the association’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee.

“I am ecstatic to have been chosen for the ALA Board of Directors,” says Amanda Koplos, Executive Director of ShuffieldLowman. “Early next year, I will celebrate my 16-year anniversary with ALA. Alex Douglas & Stephanie Cook Contribute to RPPTL “ActionLine” Article

Attorneys Alex Douglas and Stephanie Cook recently contributed to a Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section’s (RPPTL) ActionLine article: “As the RPPTL World Turns: The Impact of the Pandemic and Remote/Zoom Hearings, Depositions, and Mediations on Your Trusts and Estates Litigation Practices.”  The authors performed a series of interviews with a cross-section of RPPTL Section members who practice primarily Trusts and Estates Litigation. The interviews were designed to learn how their practices have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The article covered topics including working from home, Zoom hearings, depositions, mediations, business development, technology, and captured the attorney’s post-pandemic thoughts. One thing everyone agreed on was that Zoom was the new normal.

The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section’s ActionLine is a quarterly publication containing the latest news on Florida law of concern to RPPTL members and reporting on current Section activities.
