Download BIO

Julie practices in the areas of estate planning and federal taxation. Her experience interning for judges in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and U.S. District Court provided an insider’s perspective, allowing her the advantage of seeing potential litigation matters from the eyes of a judge’s clerk. Julie is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a member of The Florida Bar’s Tax Law Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. While pursuing her LL.M. in Tax, Julie and her partner were the first-place winners of the 13th Annual American Bar Association’s Law Student Tax Challenge for the LL.M. division. The national contest provides students an opportunity to research, write about and then present analyses of a real-life tax planning problem before a panel of distinguished tax lawyers and tax court judges.

Julie earned her J.D. and LL.M. in Tax from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She holds a B.A. degree from Smith College with a major in economics and French studies.
