Cooper M. Powell focuses his practice on estate planning and specializes in probate and trust administration. Providing thoughtful guidance to clients while navigating the unique challenges of the probate process is what drives Cooper.

A Florida native, Cooper was born and raised in Oviedo. He attended Lindenwood University-Belleville on a wrestling scholarship and majored in Criminal Justice. There, he participated in mock trial competitions, which motivated him to pursue and obtain his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

While in law school, Cooper was a Summer Law Clerk at ShuffieldLowman, where he gained experience in a variety of practice areas, including corporate/business law, elder law, estate planning, real estate, and tax law. Upon graduation, Cooper was excited to join the firm’s Estate Planning Department and return to Central Florida to serve his community. This includes volunteering with the North Central Florida Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause that is especially meaningful to him.
