Brittany Brown handles a wide range of litigation matters, with an emphasis on fiduciary and trust litigation, contested guardianships, and commercial litigation.
A Florida native, growing-up in Seminole County, Brittany earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, cum laude, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude. While in law school she was a founding member of the Investor Rights Clinic where she represented clients in securities arbitration claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). In addition, as a member of the University of Miami Trial Team, she won the Intra-School Trial Competition and was awarded the Honorable Theodore Klein Endowed Scholarship for her performance in the Litigation Skills Program. She also received the Ambassador Sue McCourt Cobb Scholarship for her demonstrated academic achievement in the interrelationship between law and economics, as well as several Book awards. In her second year of law school, she served as a legal intern for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission’s trial unit in the Miami regional office.
Brittany is admitted to The Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice in federal court before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. As a member of The Florida Bar she is involved in the Young Lawyers Division, Business Law Section and Animal Law Section.
Prior to joining the firm, she handled a wide range of litigation work for a top law firm on Brickell Avenue in Miami, with an emphasis on securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and regulatory investigations.
She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, horseback riding and relaxing with her army of Chihuahuas and other rescue pets.
