Attorneys Nathaniel Dutt, Lorin Page and Michelle Saporito Join ShuffieldLowman
ORLANDO, FLORIDA – ShuffieldLowman recently announced that attorneys Nathaniel G. Dutt, Lorin G. Page and Michelle C. Saporito have joined the firm, working in the Orlando office. Nathaniel G. Dutt brings a broad range of experience in tax and corporate law, including work with partnerships, tax credits, financial instruments, corporate and business restructurings, private equity and investments, and U.S. international tax planning, both inbound and outbound. He also has a background in U.S. federal securities and commodities law. Dutt holds his B.S. in economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh and his J.D. and M.B.A., both magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, where he was a recipient of the Leo S. Goodwin Academic Honors Scholarship and served as the editor-in-chief of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law. He also holds his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Active in the community, he is President-Elect of the Downtown Orlando Rotary Club’s breakfast chapter. Lorin G. Page practices in the areas of trust, estates and business law, with a focus on tax implications of estate and business planning. His experience includes working on wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, valuation discounts, charitable lead and remainder trusts, and trust and probate administration matters. In business law, he practices in the areas of entity formation, executive compensation, purchase and sale agreements, captive insurance, and tax structuring, and business succession planning. Page received his B. A. in English from Florida Atlantic University’s Harriet Wilkes Honors College. He began his legal education at The University of Alabama School of Law, earning his J.D. magna cum laude, and then received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is a current member of the North Carolina Bar, an inactive member of the Oregon Bar, and a pending applicant to the Florida Bar. Michelle C. Saporito is a former trial attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, bringing her years of experience to the areas of elder law, guardianship, estate planning and special needs trusts. Saporito earned her B.A., cum laude, in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University at Los Angeles and her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. She is a member of The Florida and Georgia Bar Associations and a member of the Elder Law and Estate Planning, Guardianship and Trust section of the Orange County Bar Association. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at Rollins College, as part of the Hamilton Holt School’s Paralegal Certificate Program. Her community involvement includes serving as the Chair of the Marketing Committee for the Central Florida Women Lawyers Association (CFAWL) and as a volunteer with One Heart for Children, Buddies for Life/Animal Allies and the Women and Girls Cancer Alliance.
