Guardianship & Elder Law Paralegal

Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, a full-service AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Orlando office for a Paralegal in our Guardianship and Elder Law Section. Candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal.  The successful candidate will work well both with a team and independently, have excellent judgement and be proactive.  Must be able to handle a busy caseload and handle cases from start to finish, must be patient and compassionate and comfortable with multi-tasking. Preference will be given to candidates with background in litigation, estate planning, guardianship or probate.

Real Estate Paralegal

Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, a full-service AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Orlando office for a Real Estate Paralegal. Candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial and/or residential lending, including the ability to communicate with clients, prepare commercial loan documentation, organize and track due diligence, analyze title and clear conditions, coordinate the closing, and oversee post-closing duties. A Florida Registered Paralegal is preferred, but a candidate with strong experience from a title company will also be considered.

Paralegal/Case Manager

Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, an AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Port Orange office for a full-time Paralegal/Case Manager.  The successful candidate will have 5 – 10 years of experience specializing in Probate and/or Trust Administration.  Must have a thorough and complete understanding of FL Probate and Trust Statutes and Codes; must be comfortable meeting with clients and explaining necessary services; must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as part of a team.  Familiarity with the Volusia Court system is a plus.
