The Association Law team’s areas of experience include the representation of both homeowners associations and condominium associations across a wide array of legal services that might be required. This includes the handling of collection matters, from the creation of the lien, to the filing and completion of a lien foreclosure action, to the issues that might arise after the association becomes the title holder of property.
Our attorneys also represent associations in the handling of issues that arise when an owner files bankruptcy and when a lender files a mortgage foreclosure action. We represent associations in the enforcement of the non-monetary provisions of the association’s declaration.
The Association attorneys have experience in handling construction-related issues, board recall issues, and the amendment and/or revitalization of the governing documents of associations. Our attorneys have also counseled both associations and developers on issues that arise concerning the turnover of association control from the developer to the owners within the association.
