Julia Dennis specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and recapitalization transactions, capital raises, securities law, and intellectual property. Julia represents businesses both as special M&A counsel and in a general counsel capacity, with clients ranging from the small family businesses to national and international corporations and public companies. She regularly works with management teams of private equity-backed companies to assist with platform and add-on acquisitions, as well as other strategic and growth-centric transactions including key employee incentive plans, joint ventures, minority investments and others. Julia also regularly provides advice relating to protection of intellectual property, including registration of copyrights and state and federal trademarks, and drafting and negotiation of licensing, production and work for hire agreements, privacy policies and terms of service, and master services agreements.

Julia has specific experience representing emerging and established companies within the manufacturing, distribution, technology, simulation, engineering, hospitality, telecommunication, environmental, professional services, and other sectors.

Julia earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She holds a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Emory University.
