ORLANDO, FLORIDA (July 1, 2013) – ShuffieldLowman law firm partners, William R. Lowman, Jr., Heidi W. Isenhart, Greg W. Meier and J. Stephen McDonald were recently named four of Florida Trend magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the July 2013 issue.  The “Legal Elite” designation represents the top 2% of Florida Bar’s more than 67,000 members who practice in the state. The naming process started in October 2012, when Florida Trend magazine collected ballots from Florida Bar members, asking lawyers to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard and would recommend to others.  The results of the annual survey were just released this week in Florida Trend’s July issue. Lowman, one of the firm's founding partners, and Meier both practice law in a wide variety of areas, including corporate law, estate planning and tax law.  Isenhart, the recipient of several honors this year, practices in the areas of guardianship and elder law, estate planning  and probate.  McDonald heads the firm's commercial and civil litigation section. ShuffieldLowman, located in downtown Orlando in the Gateway Center building, and in the heart of Lake County's Downtown Tavares, is a full-service law firm practicing in the areas of corporate law, securities, banking and finance, bankruptcy and creditors rights, land use and government law, real estate, commercial and civil litigation, labor and employment, estate planning and probate, guardianship and elder law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, patent licensing, trademarks and copyrights, tax law, planning for high net worth families with closely held businesses,  and environmental law.
