Julia specializes in mergers, acquisitions, sales, and purchases of businesses, securities law, general corporate law, and intellectual property. She has specific experience representing emerging and established companies, private equity firms, and portfolio companies within the manufacturing, technology, restaurant, distribution, and professional services sectors. Her transactional work includes counseling clients on corporate formation and asset protection planning, growth-centric transactions including private offering capital raises, employee incentive planning, and strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and exit strategies leading up to and including the ultimate sale of the business. Her intellectual property work includes registration and prosecution of trademarks and copyrights, and drafting and negotiating premise-based and software-as-a-service software agreements and complex intellectual property license agreements.
She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She holds a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Emory University.
